In April 2015, I had planned to hike up Mount Wrightson south of Tucson. At the parking lot, I changed my mind quickly, as it was windy and 47 degrees: not comfortable in my shorts and cotton Tshirt. Picacho Peak between Tucson and Phoenix was a lot lower in elevation and warmer.
